Reba in Life After 60

I use to watch Reba every week on her show by the same name. I thought it was really nice how she and her ex-husband were still able to get along. Yes I know it was a sitcom but the message was still there, you don’t have to hate each other just because you couldn’t stay married. And that brings me to what I am thankful for today.
My ex. If not for her I think my life would have been boring. And I know I wouldn’t be half the man I am today without her, but our marriage didn’t last. Long story. But we have that type of relationship that if either of us needed something from the other, we would be there in a moment’s notice. We are what I wished we could have been all along, FRIENDS.
And that is what I am thankful for. My ex wife gave me two wonderful kids who grew up to be pretty good adults if I say so myself. They inherited some very great qualities from their mother. I couldn’t have picked a better woman to have kids with. And today is her 58th birthday.
So take time today and spread some cheer and sunshine. Enjoy your time and don’t let the mistakes of your past determine who you will be in the future.

Wise true advice.
Ever wish you were still together?

That is a tough question. What makes it that way is a person can't forget all the things that made it wrong/bad. To be honest I would have to say I don't think so. We changed so much over the course of the marriage and even more after. We both seem to be happier now.
