We have all seen them, those wonderful little warning labels on things alerting us to danger. One that perplexes me is the California Proposition 65: “California Proposition 65, WARNING: This product contains chemicals know to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information visit: www.P65Warnings.ca.gov ”
Here is my question. Why do other states not have this warning label? Does California use different chemicals in their production methods? Is the rest of the country, uh, how should I put this....Ignorant? (rhetorical question folks. :) ) Surely California doesn’t’ know something we don’t.
And then there is the whole Spring Water, Purified water thing. Okay to be fair, I prefer the “Smart Water”, cause it makes me, well....smart! ( I am afraid to think of the people who actually believe that.) But I digress. The point to the water issue is they put it in plastic bottles containing chemicals.
Add to that, we drive on parkways and park in driveways. I am sure it has something to do with the water we drank for the garden hose growing up. Have a wonderful week.

And they let the water go into plastic bottles, but ban plastic straws? I don't think the California government knows more, but that it is more wacko.
