False Advertising in Life After 60

About the only thing that is true of some signs, is they are false Advertising. Okay, I am a male and we all know what that means. I want what I want and I want it now, no waiting, and I want it my way.
I went to get a hair cut but instead of going to the usual place I tried out SuperCuts. Why? The sign in the window said, “No Waiting” in red neon. I took that to mean just that, no waiting. I foolishly thought I would walk in and be served immediately. But just as I walked toward the door another customer beat me to the desk. Still, the sign says, no waiting. They are surely fully staffed on a Friday afternoon.
25 minutes later I am finally called to the chair. The sign said “No Waiting!!!!” Why did I have to wait? Don’t they have a stylist on standby just waiting to fulfill the promise of “No Waiting?” Maybe their definition of “No Waiting” is not the same as mine?
But then I know men and women speak a different language and me being a Computer Tech only adds to the fun. “My computer isn’t working? You mean it won’t take out the trash or pay attention to you? Yes, I take things to the extreme but if the sign says “No Waiting” I don’t expect to wait. Am I wrong? The phone lines are open. What is your pet peeve?

On hold with the continual repeating of the line, your business is important to us. Please stay on the line and the next available representative will be with you. LOL They must only have one representative. Or they make so many mistakes they are always answering calls.
