World blew upin smoke in Daily life

Yes, my world literally blew up in smoke Saturday night. My house had an electrical fire issuing from the bathroom vent. Luckily I smelled something funny, checked things out, still smelled something funny and then saw the embers falling down. The important thing is I am safe, the cats are safe altho the second floor of the house needs to gutted and there is water damage to the first floor and basement. I stupidly reached out to Jeff, we had been seeing each other about twice a week and things were going well. He came down and when I asked if I could stay at his apartment, is when things when againup in flames. She was at his place, she has moved a lot of her stuff there , even tho she doesn’t “per se” live there (seems like on an occasional Saturday night) but that has been almost from the beginning of when he got the apartment last October.

Insurance adjusters came today and resoration people,, the house is secure, altho not livable, other restoration people tomorrow as ironically there was a fire caused by a possible gas explosion damaging 10 the same night.

Things can be replaced, what upsets me is my clothes are gone. But the kicker is talking with Jeff last night and today, the additional revelations as to still while he was seeing me, he was also still in a relationship with her. Why can I not say, “no more, good-bye”.
