Wellbutrin and other health stuff in Health Journey

I know most of this will only be interesting to me, but I really want to document it.

Wellbutrin - last night, and actually all day, I felt energetic. I TOOK A WALK instead of just thinking about taking a walk and then feeling bad all day because I didn’t do it. That felt good.

I cooked dinner and then the guys left to get haircuts and also buy some dress clothes for homecoming, so I said I would clean up. I made them lunches from the leftovers, washed dishes, loaded the dishwasher, wiped down counters, washed eggs and took care of the chicken, did a couple loads of laundry, swept the floor, and got all the coffee stuff prepped for tomorrow.

This is more like the “normal” me. This would never have happened just a month ago, but is my normal operating speed before this depression hit.

At the end of the day, I had a little bit of a hard time falling asleep, and sleep was about a 7 out of 10, in regards to actual restfulness.

Since about February, my daily schedule has been to go to bed early, sleep late in the morning or lie about the bed for one, two hours, falling back asleep a couple times, etc. I usually had a bit of energy in the AM, but by 2 or 3, was feeing pretty zoned out.

I don’t feel more happy, but more normal and accomplished and that, in turn, makes me happy.

In regards to food. I have been eating regular meals and not binging. If I have an Oreo I can have one, and don’t need six to feel satisfied. I’m not sure if this is psychosomatic or an actual side effect. Time will tell.

And the real test of all this will be how I feel before and during my period. What about the aches and pains? What about cravings?

This morning I had my blood drawn for a full blood panel - cholesterol, iron, etc. Guess we will see if there’s any deficiencies.
I am also calling today to schedule an obgyn appt. for the ultrasound my Dr. recommended to check for fibroids.

as they say on my favorite podcast: "if you don't make your own seratonin, storebought is just fine". Glad you found something!
