Okay, I will admit I tend to take things too literal sometimes, but it makes for some fun discussions. Some of the things just make me shake my head.
Recorded live in front of a live studio audience for instance As opposed to them being, let’s say, dead? Or one of my favorites, “I was at Tim’s funeral.” “Did he die?” No, we just thought we’d have his funeral and see who showed up! Or another variation of such, “did your cat die?” Nope, we are conducting our own Schrodinger’s cat experiment.
Yes, I realize it is way over the top but I tend to lean toward the sarcastic side of life. It makes life interesting. Of course, there are those who take life way too seriously and get offended at everything. Lighten up, don’t take life too serious, after all, none of us are going to get out alive.
