Note: Full photoalbum here

I only went for Day 2, and apparently there were less cosplayers this time round, although the merchandise hall was much more crowded (apparently).

I didn't spend very long in the merchandise area, but I did manage to get this:

which is probably the most *drumroll* repulsive thing I'm going to see all week.

Even more than this:

Cosplayer: Mena Toh.

Character: Kondo Isao, from Gintama

(Just kidding. He's a really nice guy.)

Dante getting too familiar with Dante, resulting in this:

Cosplayers from TIMsum cosplay, as Devil Trigger original Dante and new Dante (or, as some call him, Donte)

Father and child cosplayers, as Master Chief and Junior Master Chief from Halo. Awesome parenting. Did not get their names.

Cosplayer: From Zeimer photography

Character: ???

As you can see, I've been busy with the burst zoom again, but I won't inflict all the effects on you unless you feel like looking at the full album.

Advancing Titan players were everywhere, naturally, although I found an acquaintance to photograph:

Cosplayer: Mizurei

Character: Sasha Brauch from Shingeki no Kyojin.

Dramatic filter is fun:

Cosplayer: Mizdesert.

Character: Fem/Altair from Assassin's Creed

With burst zoom, again:

Note: Drama filter increases f-number, hence reducing shutter speed. Thus, the same burst zoom spasm will generate a much higher effect.

In the intermission, I found Wally:

Cosplayer: ???

Character: Wally. Or Waldo.

Oh, shi--

Character:Touka Fukawa, from Dangan Ronpa

Cosplayer:  Takanashi Reimi

Worse:

Cosplayers: Farhan Aint Normal, Jack Ho, Akiyama Kiyoru, Bryan Low

Characters: Far too many Slendermen. They also had speakers emitting the relevant sound, so I imagine that a blackout would have really made everyone very, very nervous.

Zombie music:

Cosplayers: Alexander Jameousoun Tan and Kataomoiyuki Hime. Also Bass players.

Characters:???

Sometimes, you get a nice shot, but you're pretty sure that you had nothing to do with it and it's entirely the model. I've never been sure how to feel about that:

Cosplayer:???

Character: ???

As mentioned, Caffeine and I went as Kyo :

 Cosplayer: Me.

Character: Kyo Kusanagi, 96/97 variant

Photographer: Sam Tan, of Simply Amazing Photography

and Iori:

Cosplayer: Caffeine (Sylvia Valerie Raine)

Character: Iori Yagami, pre-XI variant.

Edited to add:

Both of us together. Photographer: Z aki Mezame

Of course, Xueling was there too:

Photographer: Z-aki Mezame

Cosplayer: Anne Wright.

Character: Anthromorphic Totoro

I went with my 14-42mm kit lens. I'm very pleased that I finally managed to generate what's called Bokeh in the first image, without using any filters. It was so obvious: stand close to the subject. Really, really close.

___________

Postscript: We suddenly realised that if we could get Xueling to dress up as Chizuru Kagura we'd be ready to cosplay anywhere at any time. Something for the future, I guess.
