Bashing in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

I find it very interesting and truthfully, very sad, that even with advances in obtaining factual information that blanket labels are still applied. Religion denomination is the subject this AM and I've listened to an older woman slam, trash, and make blantant all covereage statements concerning a lady who claims "Baptist" as her choice of church. I guess I do the same comparisons and finger pointing at beliefs or ideas that I'm unfamiliar with OR have had a bad experience with throughout a time in my life. I just find it very distrubing this morning that a label and the past experiences have influenced another individual to smear an entire group to someone who has no clue about the individual or the different "Baptist" groups.

I believe that is considered to be a ramble for this AM. :)
