I will love you. In spite of my Ego.

“Thin-lipped Wisdom spoke at her from the worn chair, hinted at prudence, quoted from that book of cowardice whose author apes the name of common-sense.”

She's a player, a heart breaker, a home wrecker from hell,
And word on the street's she's got eyes for me.

And it never ends pretty, what begins so well.
But I'm poised on the pier set to shake the whole sea.

A Pristine Pierced,
Clean Scene Carnivore,
Who's never touched a piece of meat.

I want a Prom Queen,
who grinds her teeth
every time she dreams.

So check it cutes, it's the content, the concentration in the craft.
The conspiracy and the companies and we were worried about the draft.
It's a condition that you can't care, can never keep the crime scene clean.
It's a classic clash of circumstance, called out from your sleep.
I'd rather see fire in your eyes, then have to fight for apathy.

I'm good at dreams and cocky closures, and you're good at one word replies.
And I can work a room beyond belief, and you're just good at blurring lines.
I'm silver, I'm sing and string and momentum, I'm beat and sound and lies.
I'm dreams of us, I'm trust, I'm pixie dust, and I'm great at wasting time.
I'm genuine and calculated, and the easy part's the shine,
And I've got a box of secrets, full of the wings of things that fly.
I can tell the day's desire from a glance towards the sky,
And this has a cost, it's steep but it's for things that you can't buy.
And she's a mix of fae and fel, with super novas in her eyes.
She's got a grace that tastes like hell, but holds her halo high.
She's smoke and bars and billiards, with a body built to blind
and she's got a smile to show her teeth, but never speaks her mind.
So I'm left to guess, and hope for the best,
and test the ice from time to time.

So lets take a walk along the river,
(maybe later) Let me take you out to dinner?
Now Lets smoke a bowl, and take off our cloths,
and shape shift from saints to sinners.

Then if we act like we’re the center of the universe,
It’s probably because we are.
And if it seems like the world revolves around us,
It’s because we shine like stars.
Now I haven't said that I’m in love,
But you gotta know it’s true.
That it may just be me, but my heart skips a beat,
Whenever I think of you.

So lets fall in love like we only have one day, because that's truly all we have.
Move from the heart, speak every thought, but never unpack our bags.
Because perfection's not found in actions, But the memories you make.
Practice your ass off, buy a car, not a castle, and don't pass on a chance to escape.
