Dad is 85 years old today!! in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

He is doing better each day and will come to my house for his b'day supper of liver and onions, mashed potatoes, veggies, and of course a birthday cake. My sister and nephew will arrive tomorrow evening and will stay for a few days at dads. I will have a family birthday get together for Dad this weekend. Weather permitting. Our forecast is sounding a bit un-nerving with freezing rain in the forecast with snow and sleet. I certainly hope it fizzles up and doesn't get as bad as they are predicting.
