Irresistible in Life After 60

Something that it is so powerful that it makes you act in a certain way, and there is nothing you can do to prevent this. Sounds a lot like losing your self-control. But maybe more politically correct. Or is it just a natural reflex? I think in some cases it is an Achilles heel. Whatever the force is, it is strong sometimes.
As I have aged I have learned to master the evil force a little better. The carrot doesn’t seem to be as attractive. No, I have just changed carrots. Since I missed my middle age crazy years I can have them now. The bonus is I don’t have anyone I have to ask permission to do stupid things.
And then there is the opposite of the coin. I don’t have anyone to share my life with. Could it be that my life is so mundane it isn’t worth sharing? Am I too picky, set the bar too high, refuse to settle? If asked to describe my perfect woman I would just have to say, she is a combination of Mary Tyler Moore, Meg Ryan, and Kate Jackson in extra small, please!
