I'm an Enigma in Life After 60

I have been called a lot of things. Some I can’t repeat and others I don’t want to. Enigma might just sum it up. Or more to the point and enigma aficionados. It’s not really intentional on my part, it just is.
Being single I spend a lot of time alone. Probably more than is healthy but when I get in an argument with myself, I usually win. Well, at least half the time. I am sure if someone walked into the house without my knowledge and listened they would most likely have me committed to a home for the 3 clowns short of a circus folks. But don’t let my rugged exterior fool you. Inside I am worse!
I live by the John Wayne Code. It is, “I won’t be wronged. I won’t be insulted. I won’t be laid a-hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.”
I like it. And add to that, “Speak softly and carry a big stick you will go far” from Theodore Roosevelt you have a winning hand.
