Not to much to write about but here goes. Went to an aution with my bride last Saturday morning. She bought a pair of skates and I bought a cross bow. Spent 8 bucks.LOL We had a good time and stopped at Micky D's for a bisquit that morning. We are trying to spend a few hours on just ourselves on the wekends. so busy with grands you know. Baseball, dance, baby sitting. We are tired a lot and just fall into bed and get some ZZZZ's. Here lately been missing my baby. Anywho Church was great Sunday morning and evening service. Sunday morning was men's prayer breakfast at 7:30 am. had a big breakfast with all the guys. I cooked the eggs and bisquits. you know us Baptist are gonna have eat-n with our meet-n. But, the devotional on prayer was off the chart. So good. Stepped all over my toes. Really good by a brother in church. Saturday evening went fishing in private pond. Caught around 12 Bass. Biggest was about 4 lbs. Sunday afer church I fille' the 7 I kept and fried them for lunch. Mom ma ate one and I ate three. Had them cold for supper too. I love cold fried fish with tarter sauce. Baked me a sweet potatoe with butter ,sugar, and cinummin (spl) with cut onions and sliced cucumber and tomatoes with corn meal quite dogs. Yummmmy~! Big ole glass of sweet ice tea slow dripped from the tea bags. Then Sunday evening watched a little TV. olympics shut her down for two more years.
Everybody on the farm is doing good. Lot's of baby bunnies. geese or laying. hens or too. Incubator running for some buther birds for the freezer. Calves growing like crazy. Eating me out of house nad home. but they should make some pretty baby's about this time next year. Hope she has a heifer calf. easier to sell and will allow me to buy another unrelated heifer. I have registered red Angus. If-n it is a bull calf. Well he will lose his uh-umm and be fed out for steaks. So if my chickens hatch right? Since I am counting them first. I should be enjoying some home spun beef soon. It's always nice to have a plan. Don't you think so? maye yal;l can come and I will grille you a rib eye with a sweet tator and salad out of my garden. Have some fried okra on the side with nanner puddi-n. I make the best nanner pudding you ever ett. It's the stove type cause you have to make a custard the day before. Oooohboy!
