The moving guys took ALL DAY on Monday... they sure earned their six hundred bucks. My bedroom dresser was a casualty - the supporting bar in the middle of the frame snapped off its mountings so all the drawers fell down. I just emptied them out into the plastic boxes, and right now the TV is sitting on top of the shell. Fortunately the fiberboard is really sturdy so the drawers weren't holding it up. Going to Ikea today to see what I can find to replace it. Probably another cheap metal stacking drawer like John has... I turned the oven on to bake dinner last night and I don't think it came anywhere NEAR temperature, so I have to get an oven thermometer and check - the frozen chicken patties said to cook at 400F for 15-20 minutes and I had to crank it up to 450 and bake them for 40 to get anything resembling 'cooked'!
One wacked out thing in the kitchen. The fridge has an icemaker/water dispenser and it looks relatively new. We got the dispenser to work last night and the water comes out nice, but the icemaker takes up half the limited freezer space - and it's a twin door, which they've shoved in the corner up against the wall so that you can't open the freezer door more than half way! You have to be a contortionist to get into the freezer and pull stuff out because those doors are made to open out to 180 degrees to get the door shelves out of the way!
