is so expensive…
I used to color my hair out of a box, but I was worried about it ruining my hair in the long run so I’ve started going to hair appointments at a salon/spa. The good news is, my hair is not as so yellow as it tends to get from a box. My hair dresser uses a special blend of toner and bleach. Today we brought out the foils so add some low lights to my hair after I said I still didn’t feel too happy about my hairstyle. I joked about feeling like a potato because of the foil.
When I first went in, she took 13 inches off my hair. So this has been very different for me.
I also had it layered, but I’m not used to the layers. The hair styles I am starting to be able to do again aren’t working because the layered pieces don’t fit in. (ie. braid it to the side, you know, like Elsa).
I talked to her about it again today since I am growing my hair out again and she said we could let the layers grow out more so I can braid my hair again.
I’ve decided to grow my bangs out, too. That’s going to be different.
I looked at her and asked her opinion on it because I’ve had straight-cut bangs my whole life.
I think I’m just tired of having to manage them if it’s windy out or if my hair gets wet.
I picked up another bottle of shampoo and conditioner and set my next appointment for 6 weeks out.
It cost me 200 dollars for today.
ouch.
