Misery Loves Company in Life After 60

I don’t know which is worse. To be in love with the right person at the wrong time or to be in love with the wrong person at the right time. Both will make you miserable. At times I feel like I have to decide how much crazy I will put up with. I am really an old fashion guy. I have been told that we tend to marry someone who was like our mother. You will spend years on the couch of a psychiatrist explaining that one. But misery loves company.
It actually does us good to talk about our problems. You just have to be careful who you talk to. Sometimes professional help is needed. Love is just one of those things that can drive you insane. The process is so daunting at times. And failure, like it or not is part of the game.
Which brings me to another point. Why do people feel that they can not be honest? Why is there a need to play games with other peoples emotions? I don’t like games and I don’t have time to play them. Just give me an old fashion woman who knows what she wants. Perhaps maybe just a women in general that knows what she wants. Relationships can make you miserable, just as not being in one can. I’ll be right back, someone’s knocking.
