Some things about yourself.
I'm Sydney and I wish I could say I was named that because I was conceived in Sydney, Aus, or born there, or been there...but none of the above. I'm 23 and spending most of my time preparing my applications for grad school where I want to study Social Psychology. I'm hoping to make it into a school in LA because I really want to experience the other Big City since I currently live in New York.
I work at a coffee shop where I am kind of the only one who doesn't dress cool. I have never dressed cool and I don't know what cool is. I am a big giant nerd who likes making excel spreadsheets.
I do not really have hobbies. I guess the hobby I could assign myself to is writing. I don't really write fiction I pretty much just write this, this sort of therapeutic, systematic, writing about daily life. I always want to write fiction but I can't focus enough to do it.

Coffee/Espresso: I like drinking it, I find steaming milk extremely therapeutic. I love mugs, latte art, coffee shops, coffee smell, coffee beans, coffee tins, coffee bags, those silver espresso machines in Italy, little silver things full of cream and sugar cubes, little coffee spoons...ANYTHING TO DO WITH COFFE MAKES MY LIFE.
Art: I double majored in Psychology and Art History. Art is a really big deal for me and I often go to the Met by myself and cry at the art.
History: I accidentally did a History minor because I took so many classes for electives. I love History and people who know a lot about it. Like think about the guy on Pawn Stars. I love how he just knows everything about every historical item that comes in. I think if the Psychology thing fails me I will go for an MA in library science or archiving or some kind of thing relating to historical documents. Man I am so boring. HA
My job: I don't know what I am going to do when I have to quit the coffee shop and no longer get free Tuna Sandwiches and lattes.
Sex: I love sex and I love porn and I love studying attraction and I think if I ever had to be a sit down talk therapist I'd be a sex therapist. I love talking about sex with anyone, anywhere, anytime, at any volume.
Music: I like all types and going to concerts is a high priority. In the next month Im seeing Deerhunter, Neko Case, and Local Natives with Wild Nothing.
Autumn: Love the season, love the name. My new thing is going upstate during the fall and camping. I also love dressing for fall. And every girl I have met named Autumn is SO HOT.
Bonfires: I think they need to invent a perfume that smells like bonfires.

Dogs: At the moment I long for a pug. But I love big guys too.
Dislikes
People who say things like "that's racist against white people" or "that's sexist against men", or "What about straight pride?" Give me a break. If you think this way you have a lot of learning to do.
Octopus - eating them that is. I could never get over feeling the suction cup things in your mouth.
Tequila - Had a bad experience and can't do it again. Same goes for Maker's Mark actually
Slut-shaming.
Men who have high physical standards for a partner but don't take care of themselves. It's like excuse me but I need to be with someone hot too.
Rude people/people with no manners.
Anybody who uses the word "gay" to mean "stupid", or anyone who says "fag" who is not talking about a cigarette.
People who kiss loudly on a crowded subway. I just get really grossed out by the wet bodily noises of other people.
People who are afraid to come to my neighbourhood because it's "Harlem"
People who assume I am from a small town or farm country because I say I am from Minneapolis. Of course, there would be nothing wrong if I was from a small town or farm. I mean hey fucktards, where do you think all of your organic food comes from?

Meh, Don't care. I have lots of favourite bands/musicians and it changes a lot.

HAHA. I don't really read unless I am on a beach or on a plane or something. I have a lot of favourite books though...One book I re-read a lot is "Dry" by Augusten Burroughs.

Single life is great at the moment. I am very picky and I like it that way for now. It cuts a lot of that bad date shit out of the way.

Sticking around when the infatuation is over. Many people think infatuation and lust is love...then that goes away after a certain amount of time and they think that the love is gone. Love is about being dedicated.
