How Did I Get Here? in Life After 60

I think we all ask ourselves that question at one time or another. And I guess the short answer is pretty much the same for us all. We don’t know. After all, this isn’t were I planned to be when I got to this age. At 18 I was clueless, and by the time 21 rolled around, I still didn’t know what I wanted in life. But I can promise you this....it wasn’t were I am today!
I just celebrated my 61st birthday 20 days ago. Like so many, this one was uneventful.
I have been divorced for almost 9 years, I just downsized from an 1162 sq. ft. house my wife and I built in 1994, and live on the same little lot I grew up on. Guess I have come full circle.
And I know this for sure....I had to do a lot of growing up in the last 9 years…
