Attack of the Velocichihuahua in Ponderings of the Universe

I've been decently productive today! Huzzah! I completed the 3 smallish assignments that are due tomorrow and gone through over half of the material on tomorrow's open notes Urinary Disorders exam. Not too shabby!

I've also been researching silk in relation to eczema. I found a company that makes arm sleeves so you can have your elbows covered. They're supposed to help retain moisture, be soft, and you can put copious amounts of lotion on without it getting all over the place. I ordered a pair to try out. For rotations, we have to wear lab coats and they are all made out of the coarsest, itchiest material and I can't take wearing long sleeves all the time, so the idea of being able to protect my elbows really appeals to me. I hope they're effective and don't drive me crazy!

We're supposed to get even more snow dumped on us overnight. Woo. Hoo. Ugh. I start my Public Health course tomorrow and the professor was kind enough to cancel the 1st hour to give us extra time to get to school, which I appreciate. I'm hoping for a snow day so I don't have to take my Urinary exam, but that's pretty doubtful.

My Nutrition professor is having us keep diet journals for two days. I don't quite understand the point as it's a veterinary nutrition class...eh. She's kind of an odd duck. I already know I don't have a well-balanced diet and I'm OK with that. It mostly is comprised of carbs and dairy. To demonstrate. this is what I've eaten thus far today: -Milk tea – 12 oz 1% milk, 2t sugar, 1 vanilla almond decaf teabag -Kemps Singles Small curd Cottage Cheese -apple sauce cup -3/4 box macaroni and cheese -10 oz milk -vitamins -2 Tagalongs -1 can San Pellegrino fizzy lemonade stuff
How exciting. Aaron's making some chicken wild rice soup so that'll get eaten as well with more milk. And maybe a salad if I feel really ambitious. Thrilling.

I really wish I could be bffs with Stephen Fry. We could talk about weird facts and grammar and, when he got too full of himself, I'd just show him my breasts to make him scream and run away. It would be a most excellent relationship.

Ooh! I also got a veterinary drug book today! For free! My mum had an Amazon card that we'd just stopped using because I thought it had expired. Well, turns out, it hadn't and it had accumulated quite a few points so I went for it. Yay for a "free" drug reference! I have access to another one online but I'm a person who needs physical books and I'd heard good things about this other one. I'm sure I'll have fun with it...or, at least as much fun as you can have with a drug book.

Hmm...soup should be done soon and I should try to get through another lecture.

This should be a legitimate sport:

Chihuahua wrangling can be terrifying! But oh how I love those neurotic, little things.
