Within the past three days, I was informed that my grandma’s Vancomycin Resistant Enterococci had returned. For anyone who doesn’t know, this is a bacterial infection in the urinary tract, highly contagious and deadly. The day after that I was told that she has E-coli and proteus mirabilis, both equally highly contagious and deadly.
Today I found out that I have a bladder infection and staph in my nose. I can’t see grandma until Sarurday or Sunday and only if I have no fever.
Did I mention that grandma is 97? Saturday seems like a lifetime! Pray for us!
