Ok I am first going to apologise for my work related rant of yesterday. I really should be grateful that I am not one of the several thousand that do not have a job, although I know that some in this country cannot be a**ed to work!
I am grateful that I have a job that brings in enough money that means Dawn does not have to work and I can repay all the time she worked long hours to support us while I was going through my Nurse training. I am grateful that I have a main job that I thoroughly enjoy. And I am also grateful that the “other job” is only a short-term project. There ,that’s got that out of the way!
Yesterday, was pretty hectic in the morning, but nice and chilled in the afternoon. Didn’t do much at all and continued that theme today as well! So I am pretty relaxed and back to being my laid-back self. We went out for lunch with my mum today to a local hostelry and that was pretty good. After that Dawn and I went to see Paula and the grandsprogs. They were hoping to see me yesterday and called round, but I was out shopping, getting supplies for the chickens, so missed them. They were surprised to see us and loved the fact we had called in. With three of them it’s sometimes a fight for them to spend time with us, so we have to make sure they all get a piece of us. With Logan (the eldest) I helped him with his working model of an internal combustion engine that he had for his 11th birthday, with Jayden we were listening to him read as part of his homework. He’s 6 and is coming along really well. With Kelsie, you just have to cuddle and tickle her and she’s happy, especially with her granddad!!
And so as Sunday nears its end and Monday beckons, on paper this week doesn’t seem so bad so I am not fretting over it at all.
