No news on any front. I haven't heard from dream job in Iowa. I sent them a follow-up e-mail but didn't hear anything back. The position is still posted. I would think since I made it to the second round that I would hear something back either way. Maybe not?
I've been putting in a bunch of resumes and applications in for different jobs in Cincinnati. I've yet to hear anything. I'm so ready to move out of my dad's, but I need to make more money first. My $420 monthly mostly interest-only student loan payments are really holding me back. I'm just ready for the next stage of my life, whatever that may mean.
I also haven't heard from the one guy. I'm over that, though. I started talking to someone else. We agreed to go on a date kind of early on in talking. After texting a bit I wasn't really that interested. He send me a facebook request that I haven't responded to. I don't know. I should just say I'm not interested, but I don't want to be a dick. I'm horrible at things like this. I'll probably just go through a date so I have reasonable grounds to tell him I'm not interested. I'm just super particular about who I'm interested in.
My car is in the shop. I've only had it three months. It's an '08 Honda Fit. It hasn't been starting the past few days. We finally got it to start yesterday and then it wouldn't start today. After we got it started today we took it straight to mechanic. I talked to them later today and was told they were running diagnostics, but it had started every time the tried and they can't find anything wrong with it. Maybe it was just a fluke? At any rate, I think they charge $85 just for looking at it. I agreed to leave it overnight so they can test it again in the morning. We'll see what happens.
