Well, it's official, I am over 50 and now a senior citizen. I don't feel any different. The Tater Tot Party is over and done with. We had a major winter storm Thursday into Friday, so I ended up encouraging people NOT to come if they weren't comfortable, so it was a smaller gathering.
Tabitha and Dani (her best friend and my honorary daughter) came out, as well as Sabrina and her roommates, and Nick and his friend James even stayed until about 10:00. All my kids in one place at one time is always the best birthday present I could receive.
I enjoy seeing family and friends, really I do, and I can even afford the $300 to feed them all tater tots and Angry Orchard Cider by the pitcher, but I have to say I'm always happiest when it is over. I've vowed to only have this party once every five years from now on, and I am very pleased with that decision.
I have photos, but haven't figured out how to post them on here yet. I will research and try to get them out by the end of the week. Anybody want to give me any tips, that would be very welcome!
