Bobby and I got our early morning walk in. I feel so much better the day we do that, it just helps to give me a bit of a kickstart and get moving.

After everyone got up and ate breakfast, Juliet, Sawyer, and I headed out to do some errands and some garage sale-ing. Dakota is old enough now to decide if he wants to go or not. He’ll be 13 in November so he usually opts to stay home.

We went to a church sale and two other sales. Also my Salvation Army was doing a 10 for $1 on all their summer stuff making things only .10. So I got some middle shelf stuff AND found two Anthropologie dresses. Along with a pair of Pilcro and Letterpress pants, they’re a size 0 so they may sit for awhile but I couldn’t leave them behind.

While I was out, I made over $100. It was insane. I had two people make bundles on Poshmark (buying more than one thing), then I sold a Patagonia jacket also. My Ebay was also dinging like crazy. I came home and it took me an hour to get everything packaged up but I made it to the post office before the mailman showed up.

As much as having a PO Box can be a total pain in the ass, the benefit of having my post office literally a half mile away is amazing. I couldn’t imagine having to go all the way ‘into town’ to drop stuff off. They’re all super amazing about it too and scan my stuff in right away.

With Ebay it doesn’t matter as much since I get paid right away - however I do have to ship same day or next day. But with Poshmark - you don’t get paid until they get their order and accept it so I’m always on the ball to get those out ASAP so I can get paid.

I also got the dress back that I switched up. I can’t figure out how to accept the return though so she can get her money back. I emailed Poshmark so hopefully they’ll do that and she will repurchase.

AH. Just sold a Soft Surroundings long nightgown for $30 that I bought for $3 at GW this week. Sometimes I just cry because is this really my life right now? I’m getting paid to do what I fucking absolutely love? And I’m making other people happy. I just can’t. It may so dumb to some, but it’s a rewarding thing. I figure I’m doing some part of helping things not just get dumped in a landfill and be re-purposed instead.

Ok, I’m off to get dinner going! :)
