Envy, gluttony, greed or avarice, sloth, pride, lust or wrath.
I don’t believe in the seven deadly sins, created in order to chastise and create guilt. As a teen / early twenties, I was a huge Tori Amos fan who had many great lines in her songs amongst which was this gem - ‘Got enough guilt to start my own religion’.
The ‘sins’ are just human emotion and we can either accept that or just berate ourselves over and over again for being, what we are, human. There are many beautiful sides to religion but I feel that this is not a part of that.
Envy - I’m sometimes envious of people with big kitchens and more than one bathroom…
Gluttony - I like food and sometimes eat for the sake of it instead of out of need.
Greed - you mean like, hiding yummy food from the kids do I can eat it? Yup, I do that!
Sloth - my bed is the comfiest place in the world. My absolute favourite place to be.
Pride - I believe in myself, I know I’m good at stuff and I brag about it.
Lust - yep, if only the children didn’t sleep at opposite ends of the day - one who sleeps at midnight and one who gets up at 6 😂🤣😂🤣
Wrath - there are definitely times when I get incredibly angry, seethingly so. And sometimes I yell at the kids when perhaps I shouldn’t have.
You see, we’re all human. Being human is a good thing.

yep without those we'd be too perfect and boring, lol, which is not what I think the human experience is about,
Happy Monday xox
