A good chunk of the city had a snow day. My company didn't, of course, because we are cheap. I've had maybe one snow day in six years. They've sent us home early before because of weather but rarely close the office before people are forced to go out in it. I resent that. I would have been working from home anyway, so I wouldn't have actually gotten a day off, but the gesture would have been nice. A "don't get yourself killed for your company" gesture.
It was also the grand opening of the new deli in the lobby. We have had nothing but terrible food since before I even started but now it's a new company. Milo's or something like that. Same prices but actually very good food. I had a buffalo chicken wrap today and it was very tasty. The downstairs deli has always been sort of a joke because no one are there unless they had no choice. Now it will likely be somewhere I eat happily.
