I love crafting!! Crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, sewing, diamond painting, and more I hope to learn. I spend all day thinking about going home and working on my craft projects. They bring me peace. My fiance teases me when I get all excited about starting a new project but I can’t help it. I get such an adrenaline rush just thinking about a new project or getting supplies. The more progress I make on a project the more thrilled I am. Seeing a finished product just gives me a huge sense of accomplishment. Even now I am anxious to get home and keep working on one of my projects. I am also watching my emails and tracking numbers like a hawk waiting for my next set of projects to ship and arrive.

Sometimes I get upset about my lack of social life, loneliness, and no friends but then I remember if I had a social life it would take away from my crafting time. I want to build up my own craft business and sell at conventions. Geeks will buy almost anything. I know, I’m one of them. Perhaps going to cons I can meet like minded people and make friends, especially some who love and support my art. Until then I like having time to work on my art. I hate that my actual job takes away from that time. Especially with how much I hate this job. This is why I need to get started so that crafting can be my life.

I used to run a monthly craft club before I moved and I loved it so much. I had hoped word would get out and it would grow some.. Getting together with other crafty people was so much fun and I loved every moment of it. One of the girls who came all the time lives close to my new place and she thinks I should start it back up again. I wish I could but none of the ladies from the group want to drive so far and I don’t have any new friends in the area. But who knows…maybe one day I can start it again.
