Not a lot has happened since last I wrote. Work remains as it was, nothing much has changed elsewhere, and I continue to hammer away at youtube, getting almost no views, not attracting subscribers and generally tossing my work into a black hole of obscurity,,,,
But hey, say what you will, I’ve written more short stories in the last four months than I have in the last decade put together, so it is at least getting me behind a keyboard. On the downside, it’s killing my ability to work on the actual proper book I’m supposed to be working on. I just don’t have time to do everything, so some time near the new year I’ll probably have to scale it back, call it a good experiment but pull things down to maybe one short story video a fortnight.
I’ve hurt one of my intercostal (I think - the ones between the ribs) muscles. I had a horrific cough for about a week, and I think I probably weakened my chest and then strained a muscle picking something up. It’s agony if I sneeze. Last time I did something like this it took months to fully heal, though that was after I fell over running and I’m pretty sure I at least badly bruised a rib, if not hairline fractured it.
Ouch.
Monday morning again… how very annoying.
