Colonoscopy in My Life

Will be up bright and early tomorrow to take my husband to get a colonoscopy.

I am looking forward to Wednesday through Friday, my judge will be at conference and that will give me three days to catch up on scanning his dockets.

We have a new kitten named Piper. She is 8 months old and we just had her fixed last week. Our 10 year old lab mix has moved from the laundry room to the living room, along with her pet bed and a quilt. I have got to admit the living room now smells like dog. Ugh!!! The real question is how to get an outside dog who has never had a bath in the tub so she will smell good. She weighs 65 or 70 pounds. I don't think I can manage it! Any ideas? Maybe baby wipes?

My son has three upcoming trips. This will be a great year for him! In March, his class is going to Wshington, DC and Williamsburg, VA for 6 days. In April, the band will go to Six Flags Over Georgia, and later in the summer, the church youth group is going to Tennessee to Dollywood and The Titanic Museum.

As for me, and only thanks to God, I have lost 30 pounds since November 1st. 80 more to go and I will finally be my healthy, vibrant self again. I am doing this for two reasons: to take better care of my family and to honor God with my service to Him. When we feel better, we can do better!

Finally, my life is right where it needs to be. My husband and I are on a path that we have never traveled before and it is such a blessing. Our marriage has been restored and he is truly my best friend. This year will be 19 years and next year we will probably renew our vows in the mountains.

As Joyce Meyers says "you've got to get rid of that stinking thinking!" Give God room to work.
