I had forgotten it was here! Allegedly we should create our own survey for you to answer in comments and me to answer as part of the entry. so here goes!

  1. You have unlimited money and time. Based on your mood right now (not your general personality/state of mind) what would you do?

  2. What is your signature dish? The one meal you can cook without recipe and it comes out perfectly every time?

  3. Your greatest personal achievement to date?

  4. What is one thing you do regularly which contradicts your general life philosophy?

  5. What did you do last night for Hallowe’en?

My answers…

  1. I would go somewhere warm and slowly become insanely inebriated on mojitos and margeritas. I would allow the knowledge of any responsibility to seep from my memory and allow my body to just relax.

  2. Lasagne, it’s my mum’s recipe which she taught me over the phone when I was a nanny. It’s pretty quick, pretty simple (and no premade sauces used).

  3. Not being sucked into the hell of adult expectations - following what I want to do rather than what I should be doing.

  4. I’m sometimes too tired to wash recyclables and too stressed to remember to be nice to people.

  5. L and I carved pumpkins, T couldn’t cope with the pressure of her own perfection so hers wasn’t finished. L and I went out trick or treating and saw many of her friends out there as well as loads of kids from school knocking on our door so they could say, “Hi miss!” My favourite costume was a jellyfish - a girl was carrying a see-through umbrella with fairy lights inside and lace strips hanging down all around the edge. It was soooo clever and pretty 😀 🎐☔️

  1. Travel. I would go to all the places I've ever dreamed of going and spend as much time as I want soaking up everything the place has to offer.
  2. I have three signature dishes, but the most requested is "American chop suey". My great grandmothers recipe. I'm the only one in the family that can cook it perfectly, and it's seriously not a hard recipe to remember and follow.
  3. Starting my own little LLC. I never would have thought I would have a tiny little cleaning company.
  4. I don't take care of myself, although I am the first person to make sure YOU are taking care of yourself.
  5. Ok. Halloween is a big deal in my family. A really big deal. This Halloween was the first one in my entire life that I didn't dress up and scare people. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. They hit me like a bus and I just... couldn't do it. I cried all night both due to the pain, and the fact that I didn't participate in the holiday.

My closest friend also has fybro and works in 'spoons' she knows she has a limited amount of energy (or spoons) that she can use so will give one thing up to save spoons for a special event latest in a day. I hope you're feeling a little better today.
