Event Horizon in Poetry is the Window to the Soul...

I don’t write much here, but you gotta work those muscles, don’t you?

Today’s a special day in history. In exactly one week I become much, much older. I wonder if anyone will ever think I’m as old as my birth year suggests? I kinda doubt it. :)

Oh, and in other big, life-changing but annoyingly vague news.. Pretty soon I’ll be crippled to maybe not be crippled! My lifelong dream. Believe that or not, it’s pretty true. ;)

So enjoy the nonsensical drivel.

“Event Horizon”

The sky is bare
And I am standing here
Thinking that
We’re hardly worth a view

The clouds flow absent
My eyes full glassy
Stone cold staring
Blankly at
Our event horizon ‘Cause I’m without you

Words do not matter now
As if they ever had
The ways I imagined how
This would all fall out
Feels like empty space
Pitch black
Cavernous
With open arms
Bruised hearts
Adrift amongst the stars
Without an anchor down
No sound
Reaching out
I tether you

I tether you

May you always find your smile.

Oh, and Solo was pretty good. Deadpool 2 was phenomenal, especially the beginning and ending(s). Can Supernatural just end already? Please? On a high note if it’s even possible at this point?

And I have a new car. That I kinda love.

Except when you absently pick up the customer ahead of you in line at the Shell station’s keys cause he left them on the counter (I guess is what happened?) as they are EXACTLY like your keys. Like same Toyota key fob. Same worn out look. Same damn house key with SAME colored green little plastic ring around it. Are you fucking kidding me?

Yeah, this guy (points at self with double thumbs) didn’t stand outside his car at the Shell for about 15 minutes furiously button smashing – unlocking/locking this idiot’s car – and not understanding why my keys don’t work until dumbass finally comes over to me and is like do you have my keys? Whaaaaat have you been doing while I panicked you douchenozzle?

Was that a run-on sentence you asked?

Here’s your cookie.

Anyway, yeah, I think that’s it. My life, yo..
