Let's Try This Again in Just in Case

This internet business is going to drive me crazy. Because I had to go with the mifi for internet I have a cap on my data. The young man explained how to monitor the data to me, but either I misunderstood or he was confused because the night that I wrote my last entry and started trying to catch up I got an email that said I was over - way over. There followed a month of confusing back and forth over how many GB I had, when it started and when it ended. It’s finally straight, I had one bad bill (but since I was 50 GB over my limit, it really could have been a lot worse than it was.) But I now know my limit and how to watch it. It’s been an expensive month! I really got lucky all the way around, though.
I had an issue with my car too. I got my oil changed, and they mentioned topping off my coolant. I’ll be honest, I couldn’t even remember the last time I checked it. Anyway, it made me paranoid. So the next morning, in the dark, with a flashlight, before leaving for school, I checked it. It was a little low, but not low enough to fill. I went ahead and drove it to school. We had parent/teacher conferences that night, so I didn’t get home until 7:00. The next morning was field trip day. I went out to check and the reservoir was completely empty. i had a moment of panic, then called a coworker who lives near me to get a ride to work, then started working on getting help for my car. (On the one day I couldn’t get on my phone any time I needed to.) My roadside service on insurance told me that it could be picked up without me there, so they sent a tow truck out. The tow truck company called me to say that I had to be there. I have an in of sorts with Firestone near me, so I was going to have it taken to them. All sorts of “fun” led to it being late Saturday morning before they came to get the car. They kept it until Tuesday, but couldn’t find any sort of leak. So they put dye in it and wanted me to drive it. In meantime, my parents had brought their old truck over for me to drive. They were over for a doctor’s appointment, so they met me there to pick up the car. On the way home I noticed my tire light. I got home and my dad and I walked around looking at my tires. We saw a nice, shiny nail sticking out of one. At that point I just wanted to cry, but I didn’t. I called the next day to explain to them what happened. They said to bring it back in and they’d fix it. I couldn’t the next day, but brought it in the day after. I still had the truck, so it was ok. I brought the car in (with the nail in the tire.) I tried to change the tire, but I couldn’t. Anyway, they got the tire fixed and I drove the car for a few days, then brought it back in. There’s apparently no leak. All we can figure is that the oil place must have knocked something loose, that Firestone fixed without realizing it.
So, long boring story later, the car seems to be ok, I’m still checking it every time I go to drive it, though. Firestone didn’t charge me anything at all. They’ve taken really good care of me all along.
Anyway, after all the drama of the past month or so, I’m hoping that things settle for a while.
I’m going to go back to trying to catch up with y’all again. But I’m going to start with your most recent first, because I don’t want to have to wait to read them all to see how y’all are doing. I’ve been able to keep up with most of y’all on facebook, but I’ve missed y’all!!

Firestone has always taken pretty damn good care of me, too. Amazing, for such a big company.

And hi. :)

And thank you. You know what for. <3

Internet data is so stupid sometimes! I feel like they intentionally don't explain it correctly so you are doomed to go over! Glad to hear from you!
