Greetings my friends if there are any left who may remember me. It has been a while since I just said a hello … so hello.
I have twittered away a year or so minding to the world I live. The purchase of a home, learning how to be responsible for gardens, general home maintenance and the joy of shopping has kept me distracted. Things have come to an even keel and my desire to write has returned.... thankfully
It is good to see so many familiar names popping up. As you might see I continue to find it difficult to take off the darkened lens in my writing… I guess it is just me.. can’t turn a turnip into a tomato. Maybe spring will lighten and brighten my little world.
I went on a cruise … can’t remember if I mentioned that. It sucked.... sorry cruise fans. I felt prisoner to their escapades… and I enjoy drunken revelry as much as the next tourist but these folks couldn’t muster a fart in a shit storm. Kids in the adult pools, hot tubs the same… If I want to soak in urine I will do it in the privacy of my own toilet.
Hurricanes changed the itinerary at the last minute so we didn’t get to go to any of the islands we planned. I also don’t like going on a vacation where the clock continues to be important. Felt stressful having to be at places at certain times to do things. Land travel there is none of that other than catching your planes. Suffice it to say I drank a lot and caught a lot of beach time....
Otherwise life goes on… hope everyone is well.... nice being back…

Take my word for it... not to mention a lot of grown ups acting stupid... I am all for fun and getting fairly lit but stumbling stupid doesn't look good on anyone.... and kids being everywhere BUT the kids areas.... It was very loud ... their activities director believed the louder the activity the more fun it must be...

I will be getting married April 7th! Crazy, huh? Which is totally coming up and I can't believe it! We're having a small wedding and then a big party later in the year :)

Yes it is definitely a big step but I know it is not something you would do without great thought. I hope for the greatest happiness for you . You have been around me in my invisible life for enough years that I cannot can no longer fathom a guess. I know you know I truly hope the very best for you. I never had any interest in cruises. For all the reasons you mentioned...
