Human Euthanasia.

I got no issues with it. I grew up in the animal field. And euthanasia is part of the field. Now I don’t think it is as necessary as it is used, because there are ways to find homes and care for the animals, but fact is in the animal field, people fail to take care of the animals. Spay/neuter and not keeping them under control, letting them get loose and fornicate increasing the stray count and feral count. Now that is a different thing. Humans on the other hand are self aware. We can look at our lives and analyze. Now personally I don’t think there is any reason to just give up, unless you’re terminal, but also…not my decision to make. If it doesn’t directly affect me or harm someone else, then who are we to say. I don’t like the notion of controlling people. Obviously there are things not to do. Murder…rape…theft…ya know shit that seriously messes with people. Ya know be a decent person. But terminal illness, I think that is a perfectly acceptable time for human euthanasia if the person is for it. There is a reason mercy is a thing. And in certain situations…sparing someone of the pain is a mercy. Death is not the worst thing in the world.

Abortion.

Pretty much the same feelings. Not my decision unless, I am the potential father. And even then that is something that would be a discussion for me and the woman. If you want to go into more detail about it like when is abortion acceptable, what trimester is too late, etc. etc. There is a certain point where it is wrong, but if you are pregnant that long, then you have made the decision on whether or not to be a parent. You can’t back out once you have made it a few months in or what have you. When the person learns they are pregnant they have to actively consider the pros and cons and what life they can give the child. And make a decision. And the potential father should be included in that discussion. Early on it should be decided. I don’t like controlling people. We all have decisions to make. And all of us handle things differently. We are all entitled to our own opinions and views and decisions, and thus, it is not my decision to make for anyone except myself.

Gun Control.

This is one that I had already started writing on. Florida shooting triggered it. Mainly because they started to bring up the video games/movies and violence being the cause of it…which fundamentally is bullshit. There is not a single study that links video games or movies to violence. There is a study that shows those playing video games…were less violent. Because they had a release in a fantasy world. They want to say that video games and movie blur the lines of reality and that is nonsense. The blurred lines of reality come from the mentally ill and the irresponsibility of parents to pay attention to their children. But that is another topic entirely.

Gun control. Legislation to control the acquisition of firearms and the like. Now, first off we have to realize that in the world there is a duality. Good and bad. dark and light. etc. etc. You need the opposite to give the positive meaning. Which inherently gives the negative meaning as well. Now with that said, NOBODY WANTS THESE SHOOTINGS. Nobody wants these things to happen, but they are unfortunately a necessity of life. You need a negative. But the blame is not to be put on the tool or the video game or the influence or what have you. There is only one place for the blame and responsibility to be placed. And that is on the individual. Bullying, abuse, whatever happens in their life it is their responsibility to handle it in an appropriate manner. You can fucking hate me attack me what have you, but ultimately it is myself that has to deal with it and handle it in a productive and appropriate way. If I don’t then I can only blame myself. Same goes for everybody. We are bound to that responsibility.
Now gun control…By putting so much power over firearms in the hands of government is down right dangerous. The second amendment for the US is an important one. It is about self preservation. We have a right to protect ourselves. Now most people will argue that we don’t need AR-15s to protect ourselves. Now here is where that argument gets dismissed. Because there is another reason for the second amendment. And that is to fight a tyrannical government. If you hand over the access to firearms to the government then you are only increasing the potential for tyranny. And the second amendment fights that. And the AR-15 unnecessary comment is nonsense. How can you fight a tyrannical government when you don’t have weapons on the same level or as close as possible to fight back. So you have to scale the access of weapons accordingly. I don’t know about you all, but I personally don’t own a gun. But I have thought about it and I do intend to invest at some point. I would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
Let’s be honest here by the way. The examples we have of gun control show that it hasn’t really been productive. Detroit? And let’s be honest. The people that are mentally ill and wish to commit crimes against people and harm others…they will manage it one way or another. But they will think twice if they have the risk of eating lead themselves.
Think about it like hockey enforcers. The star players had enforcers to protect them. If someone fucked with your star player, you would expect to answer to the enforcer/goon. A consequence for your action. And when a team had a star player without an enforcer…he would get beat up and injured. Having an enforcer made it safer for all players. Because there were consequences to their actions.
There should be plenty of checks and tests and shit to get access to guns, which are there already for the most part. Could it be revisited and bettered? Of course. But fact is gun control is a very dangerous thing. And I would rather even the odds than submit.

I like your views I also think the whole idea that people who shoot up schools or commit mass murders are mentally ill isn't necessarily true being an asshole doesn't make you mentally ill and committing crimes doesn't make a person mentally ill this is not to say that some of the mass shootings that we have weren't committed by mentally ill individual however I think that the news and Society is just using it as a blanket statement when really some people are just evil fucks and they want to kill a lot of people

I consider that asshole-ness and wishing ill will and such on others as a mental illness. The fact is that the norm is that we as a people don't want to hurt each other initially. We typically don't meet people and say hey...i wanna stab you without talking and finding a reason. To go out and want to commit such attrocities....that is, to me, a form of mental illness.

There's typical mental illness like schizophrenia and then there's i suppose a more mild form of mental illness. Where the person is fairly well functioning, but somthing is off that compels them to extremes.

People get so lost on the topic of the 2nd amendment. The media is to blame imo. It has nothing to do with gun control and everything to do with limitations on freedom. The fact that we call it the former and not the latter is a travesty. Much like abortion is really a womens rights issue, not an prolife issue.

Nobody needs an AR-15 and at the same time everyone does. Our ability to oppose the government is symbolic, no neighborhood militia is going to hold back the USMC in upstate georgia. But the idea of an armed citizenry makes politicians think twice about ever doing such a thing, that is the real power and it is vital to Americas integrity. Once we start to slide down the slope it will come to and end. Today its bump stocks, when the next shooting happens it will be rifles, then magazines, etc etc etc. It boils down to would you rather die on your feet or live on your knees. Liberals seem very eager for the second choice.

Excellent post btw.
