I've had a lot of free time on my hands this last month or so as I recover from a broken arm. My sleep schedule has fallen into this weird pattern where I stay up until dawn every night then nap for a few hours before physical therapy. It's better now that I can lay in my bed again.

When I first came home from the hospital, I had to sleep in the recliner for two weeks because it supported my arm and made it easy to ice and elevate. The downside is I was trapped in the chair until Leo let me out. I graduated to the couch with my supplies all gathered within reach: remote controls, cell phone, pain pills and water. That's where I spent the 4th of July, watching old Twilight Zone episodes with my arm on ice. I wish I had recorded the one where a little girl fell into an alternate dimension and the family dog went in after her. The dad had to call his physicist friend over to help with the rescue mission and the 1962 special effects were something to see.

I've seen that one, I think. A portal or something opened in her bedroom wall; the physicist drew a chalkline around it. I was thinking about it the other day when I read this: http://phys.org/news/2010-12-scientists-evidence-universes.html

Yes, that's the one. The universes get all bruised up like apples when they're played with like marbles.
