It’s almost midnight and before I shut my eyes, I immediately remembered to come back on here. Woohoo, maybe I’ll actually daily journal?
Today was pretty productive for me. I got my car back ($340 later…) but I drove it around and it feels like it’s running like new! I hope my car lasts for another 6-7 Years at least. God knows I can’t afford a monthly car payment. I’m lucky in the fact this car was a hand me down.
I make a pretty decent paycheck for my age being a nurse and all, but my student loans are a killer. I don’t even talk about how much I owe to anyone because It feels downright embarrassing. My friends all seem to not be in the hot water I’m in. Eithet they had great scholorships, their parents paid their way through college, or they had a parent in the military with amazing perks for school. I come from a working class family who always lived paycheck to paycheck, and I knew this college burden would be entirely on me.
Whatever. I have a good job (with good benefits!) and I have a career for life.
Anyways, after I got my car I drove to my work to pickup a book for a class I’m taking tomorrow and the day after. I spent the rest of the day cleaning my bathroom, laundry, cleaning my room, etc. and it feels nice sleeping in an organized room. As I get older, the more I appreciate a clean room and nicely made bed!
I spent the rest of the night taking the pretest for tomorrow (60 questions that took 3 hours)!!
J was working a side job today. He’s a cop so his hours are just as crazy as mine. It stinks he has to work so much just to get a decent livable paycheck. He’s such a hard worker and managers to keep a positive attitude. I always admired that about him.
Anyways, it’s getting late and I have to wake up at 730am (CUE INTERNAL SCREAMS !!)
I have an 8 hour class tomorrow I know I’m gonna be barely awake for. Night shifters can’t function before noon....
