👰Marriages: 2 - a mistake and the real deal!
💍Proposals: Hmmm, I’m not sure. There have been a few but I’m not sure they were all serious. Those that were serious would be 2.
🍼Children: 2 lovely, gorgeous girls.
🐰Pets: 2 spiky, grumpy cats! Also, periodically, a plethora of fleas 😂
🚑Surgeries: major? None but I’ve had stitches and my placenta removed manually.
✒Tattoos: I have 5. My first was a cat, because marriage number one wouldn’t allow me to have a cat. And hated tattoos… then a rose was added to the cat to remove the reference. Then, a few years later I had a squiggle on my back, a play on yin yang, designed by me. Then, for my 40th birthday, I had a lizard on my foot and last year I had a watercolour style daisy on my forearm.
🔫Shot a gun? Yes. This was part of an army weekend that I did with some friends waaaaaay back in the early 90s. It was horrid and sealed my hate for guns.
✋Quit a job? Not quit, exactly, but I’ve left for various reasons - moving to a new area or a job that’s more convenient for me.
📺Ever been on tv? It was 1983 and I was on a school trip to Alton Towers. That summer, an itv kids series was being filmed there; Hold Tight, chaired by Bob Carolgees. My friends and I went into the audience and, when David Grant came on to sing his latest hit, we piled down to dance. The back of my head was visible for about two seconds when it aired on telly. I may have been in this week’s Boxing Day Match of the Day, having been behind the goal during Huddersfield v Stoke.
🌅Been to an island? Yes. There was Anglesey last summer (a damp, welsh island), I’ve been to the Bahamas twice and, when we were kids, we stayed in a house in the Lakes with its own lake that had an island. I came over all Swallows and Amazon’s, rowing out with my siblings and cousins.
🚗What do you drive? A Skoda. My dream car is a baby pink mini though ❤️
✈Flown on a plane? Yes, many times. My first was Barcelona to London, aged 6 weeks.
🚙Hit a deer ? No, but I hear the car can come off worse!
😥Someone cried over you? I’d be surprised if they hadn’t 😂
❤Fallen in love? Yes, I re-fall in love with Rich on a regular basis and I fell in love with my girls before they were born.
😪Watched someone die? Not to the end but I was with my father in law a few hours before he died.
🚑Ridden in an ambulance? Yes. I was in a car accident in 1997 and was taken to hospital. It was a very bizarre experience.
🎤Sang karaoke? Yes, yes I have. I probably lost both bars a lot of business!
❄Ice skating? Yes, it’s taking longer to get over though 😂😂 T and I went last week,
🏄Been surfing? Not properly, but body boarding.
🛳Been on a Cruise? Yes, two to the Bahamas, neither were planned by me but fun experiences.
🚲Ridden on a motorcycle? Yes, I absolutely loved it!! We went along the Pacific Coast Highway, along Mulholland Drive. We stopped at bars and beaches. It was awesome.
🐴Ridden a horse? Yes. Twice. The first time I was 3 or 4 and we all (mum, Big sis, big bro and myself) fell off. My horse was called Blue and dropped me on a thistle. Brother was thrown over his horses head, sister was dumped in mud and mum lost her memory. I didn’t want to get back on and walked back to the camp site, mum kept asking where I was and panicking, big sis took on a whole lot of responsibility that a 8 or 9 year old never should have to. The second time was at a party that the host didn’t want me at. It was an 8th and she had got a horse so everyone had a go. They all laughed at me when I got on as I had no clue what to do.
😲Almost died? No. I’ve been in situations where I could have but those eventualities didn’t occur.
🏥Stayed in a hospital? Yes, with both babies.
🍽Favorite fruit? I love so many fruits. Mango, kiwi, nectarines, grapes, bananas.
🌽Favorite vegetable? Broccoli
🍨Favorite dessert ? I don’t eat dessert but I like cheesecake, lemon meringue and key lime pie.
🌓Morning or night? I’m a morning person out of necessity. I’d love to be a night person but I get too bloody knackered the next day.
🌈Favorite colour? I like combinations, all sorts of combinations.
📞Last Phone conversation? Rich last night.
📱Last text? Rich this morning. One of T’s maths questions doesn’t make sense - there’s a chart to fill in but it doesn’t have enough info to do it. I sent him a picture of it for help.
