It came over her in a wave of relief finally years of constant resurfacing of the vivid memory, where his hands had been finally turned into one thought. Everything happens for a reason, now this isn’t what you’re thinking. This brought her comfort not because she thought she had deserved to be degraded like that; but because she knew she was strong enough to overcome it. Of course had it not have happened well that would’ve been nice but it did. And to finally see a light in a situation where years before it had been waking up in the middle of the night crying to finally being able to understand the true meaning of “past” had helped her.
