Tuesday in The Adventures of Sugarbear and Cupcake

So Sunday night my mom calls. My parents are our landlords by the way which has its pros and cons. Apparently my VW beetle needs new registration. We knew that already because Randy got a ticket for it. We just needed the money to do it. Well, now we finally have the money. We took it to the VW dealership yesterday and they said it needed a new tire and headlights. Ok we kinda thought it would. Well just to put 1 headlight in (low beam) it would cost $85. $85!!!!! So we took it to this place on the south side of Raleigh and got 2 tires and the low beams changed for $240 while VW was quoting us $525. But now one of the highbeams isn’t working. So Randy is taking it to another mechanic (who we probably should have taken it to in the first place but neither one of us thought about him). So hopefully he’ll be able to fix it and we can finally pass inspection and get the tags updated and Randy’s ticket thrown out. Then I got to get Jack’s nails trimmed. Oh, and someone got my debit card info somehow. They used it at a Wawa in Virginia Beach. Good thing it was only for ~$40 and I caught it. So I need to get my new debit card today. But overall things are pretty good I think. I’ve been productive this morning and the rest of the day I’ve got planned out so we’ll see! I think this coming year will be a great one!
