So today we did a little better. I read 20 more pages of The Hunger Games than I expected. Now we are at the end of Part II. While I'm enjoying I can definitely see why I gave this book three stars on Goodreads the first time that I read it.
As for Queen Victoria: A Personal History it is still unbelievably dull. I'm about half way through and am considering quitting it. I doubt I will, really. It seems every book has its mid-life crisis when you start to loose faith in the middle especially if things aren't going so well. Because the book is not keeping to a steady, fixed timeline it's hard to understand where in time you are.
Also, today we had the first true snow of the year. It's all white and nice, for now.

Wait, why did I write "of the year"? Obviously I meant of this winter since I don't remember the beginning of the year as utterly barren.
