So today I finished reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I thought previously that I would only finish on Thursday. But it just got so good and I couldn't stop reading. And it ended.. weirdly. It's just a demented little book.
So tomorrow I start re-reading The Hunger Games.
Been playing Minecraft a lot lately. Perhaps what always kept me from truly enjoying the game was that everything you had decayed with time, durability, all the grind, it was too much like the real world. You never had the certainty of truly possessing something. Always a race. So this time I'm playing a cheaty game with /repair all where nothing spoils. Just the fun parts without the tedium. Lets see what I can accomplish this time.
Also lately I'm getting excited about the movie Only Lovers Left Alive that's coming out a month from now. Hard to say why, it has one of those trailers that don't tell you the plot which I always dislike.
It just feels so good reading a book like Gone Girl where you are just sucked in and want to continue. Sadly in real life such pearls don't come often.
