So today I began re-reading The Fellowship of the Ring. I found it to a very enjoyable read. I think that before I wasn't much of a fan of the books though I always loved the movies. So hopefully this can be a real rediscovery of Tolkien's work. I ended where they meet Tom Bombadil. Anyway today we had a little washing machine problem where it wouldn't start. Turns out it was all because she forgot to press one button that she always kept pressed but this time it wasn't for some reason so she didn't even think about that. Today the kids outside really annoyed me with all the noise that they were making. Now, as always, I'm gleefully waiting for September when they'll all be going back to school and I will regain my peace and quiet. What hypocrisy considering my own experience with out education institution. Today they were home on time. Tomorrow they will leave to go dig potatoes at Oma's house for the weekend. They will go together with the Liberts.
