Today I continued reading The Sword in the Stone. Honestly I don't really like it. It's all just random events with seemingly no coherent plot. But on the other hand there are some parts that I quite enjoy reading. So I'm not sure whether to continue with the series. The next one is fairly short so I might continue with that, but if I don't like that also them I'm going to quit the series. Next on my reading list comes Cosmopolis by Don DeLillo (I'm not sure why but mostly because I liked the movie's trailer, haven't seen the actual movie and trailer was an incoherent mess as far as the plot is concerned so the story should come as a surprise) and then American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Now Cosmopolis is also fairly short so my plan is to read The Queen of Air and Darkness and Cosmopolis during our two weak stay. Hopefully that won't be impossibly difficult. Today I made them tomato soup. They said it was good. After it was done I told them that this was the last thing I would make this month because she constantly kept bothering me during the process, giving "advice" and generally making it a bad experience. And naturally at Oma's house cooking in peace is even less an option. So I might go back on that "promise" but if she continues to bug me then I'm not making them anything. What's the point if all that it gives you is more stress.
