So this morning I started to read and after a few pages I quit. I'm now officially done with 50 Shades of Grey. It's just so boring there's like literally nothing happening now and I just got tired of trying to deal with that mess. I mean why bother, there's nothing good at the end of that road. This evening I'm going to watch the 2003 Battlestar Galactica miniseries. If they're good then over the weekend I'll watch the first season. Today I'm not making them anything because yesterday they made the goulash for themselves and I don't really want to anyway. If she remembers to buy the chocolate then we'll have dessert tomorrow. I should call her now probably. Next week is the dreaded B-Day. Not just for me it's his also. Another year has passes and still nothing has changed. Let's just hope the day goes by without any stress.
So I just finished watching Battlestar Galactica 2003 mini-series. I like it. Nice and realistic. Involving and focused on the characters rather than some stupid stories or something. So I think that tomorrow I'll start watching the first season. It explained the name of the show which I previously thought to be rather stupid. The only thing it didn't explain was Blondie's beef with XO Grumpy Face (I'm not good with names). And what's with all the octagons? Picture frames, playing cards and even notebooks (and maybe a lot of other stuff that I missed)? It's not even addressed at any point like something saying that the shape had some significance in their culture. But maybe it was explained in the original series, or not how should I know. The pace didn't feel rushed (well only at some points when I felt there wasn't enough detail) and it's overall very good considering that they condensed the original series of 24 episodes into 4. Or so I read, for all I know it might be very loosely based.
But enough about that. So after she got home we made the deserts, they're in the fridge right now and hopefully it will be done tomorrow and that it will be nice and good instead of a disaster. Ugh, what's the worst that can happen? I think it will become my cooking mantra.
