Trying to find where I want to be - first thing on the way is to define where I am.
It’s difficult to analyze yhat as Idon’t want to be judgemental, don’t want to define how good or bad it is.
Obviously, big part of my world is my job, but it’s just in terms of hours I spend there. Generally, I like my job. It can be stressful, but for the most part I’m enjoying myself. It usually gives me opportunities to be creative and to bring value. I think it’s as enjoyable as an office job can be. It pays well that allows me to buy anything I want, apart from ridiculously priced items.
There are certain things that I like about my job being an office job. Stability is one of them. I like to feel secure about my earnings and be able to plan ahead, be able to put money aside.
What I don’t like is that sometimes I feel my time is wasted. When I’m in the office and I don’t have something specific to do, I feel I could do something better, and this situation cannot change really, as I can’t just start doing non-work related stuff in the office. I hate these stale periods, what’s when I don’t feel I create anything of value.

These days society tells everyone to find their true calling and work for themselves. Though this idea was speaking to me at some point, I started thinking about it in more details and understood that it is another generalization that society tries to put on us. Not everyone needs to be an enterpreneur, as not everyone should have kids (as I was writing in my previous post).
I tried my hands in my own business based on one of my hobbies and, honestly, I hated the business part. I think in a way it killed my passion for the hobby itself. So I really don’t feel it’s for me. It seems like what I fancy the most in the idea itself is an opportunity to have a flexible schedule, nothing else, really.

So it leads me to conclusion, that my work is not something to change to find my true passion. It’s there to support me in whatever else I want to do. Or am I being biased?..
