My health has really been poor as of late (well… for forever so it seems). Hence why I haven’t been able to finish / post the Halloween pics. I think I’m now suffering with a severe side-effect or possible allergic reaction to either a medication or interaction between meds.

I was just given hydrochlorothiazide to take along with Lisinopril for high blood pressure, but I’m also taking Prednisone and Naproxen (both have warnings if using with the above medication).

Yesterday and today at 4am, I was struck suddenly with an instant migraine and I’m talking one of the worst (top 5) I’ve ever had and nothing worked to relieve it. Advil (which I also shouldn’t take on hydrochlorothiazide (but I took 3) to no effect). Warming my feet to drain the blood did nothing, cool compress, nothing… I even took a Tramadol… nothing. 10 hours and it went away on its own. Just insufferable teary-eyed pain!!!

I can barely look at the computer screen or my phone on dim settings and my right eye hardly opens. It’s all right-headed, right temple to above my ear and all the way down to my neck!

I’m not exactly sure what I should do; all 3 meds are taken for different things: hbp, back, colitis… I can’t stop the Prednisone obviously, I may stop the Naproxen, it doesn’t work although I was explicitly told to take it all, plus it’s dangerous as I previously wrote about. Oh well, wish me luck.

To keep you guys up to date on something more positive, here are some recent pics of my niece Talya. You can see her first tooth in the first one!

I can't take naproxen it caused me to have 5 bleeding ulcers. I hope you don't have any problems taking it. I get bad headaches when the weather changes quickly. I wondered what you've been up too. Sorry to hear you are having more issues. I had a reaction to one of my meds as well. We definitely have bad luck with meds. lol

Yeah, and they gave me Naproxen knowing full well that I'm battling a severe flare of ulcerative colitis which is already 10's of thousands of bleeding ulcers...

The only Dr I've ever met in my life that actually gave a crap about me and my well being is my homeopathic Dr whom I've been trying to go see through the gofundme page. No one else cares if you live or die or how much you suffer.

The less medications you take, the better. I hope you figure it out bc that sounds pretty bad and not worth it. hugs

That's been the story of my life over the past 14 months or so. Dr's giving me meds that hurt me and don't work. I've lost everything trying to get well, paying for Dr's, hospitals, procedures and all these meds, but my health continues to decline.

I'm literally dying to get off these meds, but I can't as bad as they are it's what's keeping me alive until I can see the one person who can safely get me off of them. I am trying though. Thank you and you're right... less meds are def better!
