My marriage has strangely been stronger since we both admitted infidelities. I guess honesty brought us closer even though our honesty had been about how we had been previously lying. I got on the laptop the other day and noticed that my husband had been reading the wikipedia page about polyamory. I was curious, so I started clicking the back button to see what else he had been looking up. After several pages about transgender issues and cross-dressing, he was on a page about married couples who come out as trans and want to renew their wedding as their correct genders. It was a fascinating article and I wondered how he felt about it.
We had breakfast together the next morning before work. I was in a bathrobe and he was still in his pink pajamas. He asked me how I felt about the idea of having a commitment ceremony where he could wear a dress and I could wear a tux. I thought it was interesting that he used the phrase "commitment ceremony" so I asked if he meant having a new wedding and he nodded.
I don't fully understand his motivation for wanting to do this, except that I think he wants to do something formal in a dress. But we have started planning it a little but and it sounds like fun.
