Woke up at 7 (real time not that stupid daylight savings time according to which I woke up at 8).
Ate jellies, sandwiches, chips and garlic-bread. Mood: 1.
Anyway I didn't say much about the computer yesterday because it was kind of late-ish and felt too tired to spend much time writing. So the first thing - it's not REALLY quiet. Like my typing seems so very loud now. Victor said it's because of the wire thing (it's more like a box thing really) that he replaced. I remember that's what I liked about the laptop - that it wasn't so loud. So that's a plus. Now another problem besides the wire-box-feeding-thingy burning down was that the video card also died so they had to buy that also, cost like 25LS. He said it's the same as before only slightly better. He didn't install Windows 7 because this is not exactly the best computer and it would lag so he installed XP Professional. So he saved the E disk (which is now called the D disk) and some of the documents from C (except my books which I'm kinda pissed about but it's really no great loss as I could just download them again but still - my collection!). So now I'll of course have to download a lot of the programs that I had before (uTorrent, Gimp, Google Sketchup etc.) Another thing that bugs me is that the clock is now on 12 hours with the AM and PM things, that really annoys me and I'll have to find out how to fix it.
So I started reading The Chamber of Secrets today. Read about 80 pages meaning I'll read it four days, even though it's basically the same size as Philosopher's Stone. After that I played Minecraft for a bit. Like I suspected it didn't lag at all. So it was indeed the broken video card that was at fault. I also played Allods for a bit - same thing. I used to think it was a net problem that made them all lag but apparently it was the video card. So I'll finish Twilight after Chamber of Secrets.
Around five I went to the store to buy my favourite cheese chips. They were really good but sadly I wasn't able to finish them before Iveta came home. I really didn't want her to know that. I asked her to make me garlic-bread later. Also I just fixed the computer clock thing. Apparently the problem was that it's region was on US so switching to Latvian fixed my problem.
So the garlic-bread was good. And also my leg kind of hurts today (the bad one aka right). Not constantly but sometimes when moving there's a bit of a piercing pain. I guess it's never really gonna heal. Probably would have if I had went to a doctor or something but at the time there seemed no point in it.
So today there is yet again nothing interesting on the TV so I'll have to figure something out. Also yesterday she asked me to do the laundry but I totally forgot about that. Though she herself only remembered about it just recently. Now she's out walking with victor so I'll do the laundry after I'll log off the computer. Speaking of which I still haven't changed the desktop picture to one of my own pics. I really don't feel like going through them and searching for something especially because I'm currently still satisfied with it and I have no idea what I would want for my picture to be so why bother going through them.
