Oh God, I went to bed at 1, though possibly much later since I couldn't fall asleep for a long time and I got up at 6. Meaning I slept some 5, less most likely. And now that it's 7.30 I'm gonna go and play. I hope I get some reading done today.
Today I ate garlic-bread, chips, coca-cola and potatoes. Mood: ???
So this day just keeps getting "better" and "better". This morning I spent making a lovely cottage, it was a nice thing indeed. When it was done I got tired of building and decided to go explore some caves. After short while I got hopelessly lost so I had to resolve to digging my way out. I dug out God knows where and as I tried to go search for my cottage I got hopelessly lost without a clue where I came from. So now I have no idea where my cottage is. So I decided that since it was twelve already maybe I should quit and read instead. Just then Iveta came and decided to give my table lamp to the parasite so that maybe he could fix it. He said it was beyond repair, and could blow out the electricity (or something like that) or even kill you. So now I don't have lamp for at least today, though she said she'll go to the store tomorrow and I don't know how I'll do my reading now. Though I guess this would not have happened if I had sticked to the original plan to play after reading, then I would have been finished before this all happened and could play for the entire day. It seems nothing seems to go right today.
It's 17.43 now. I started a new world called New Eden in Minecraft. I first began in Peaceful mode so there were no enemies and I wasn't hungry. So then when I finally had a farm going and a house with a bed I switched to easy mode where I'm now trying to survive. I now have a wheat farm, which gives a steady supply of bread which is enough for now and will be enough for survival. I also harvest some, what are those called, sugar canes I think. Don't know why but they were near my wheat farm so I figured - what the hey. So far I have no animals, but I might them soon.
They are now in the kitchen making food. I hope that after I have eaten I could read at least 40 pages from If There Be Thorns. It all started so innocently... a simple flash movie on Newgrounds about Minecraft and then another one and then I had an interest in how the game was played and this guy had so many interesting videos and then I just had to play the game for myself, because the first I really didn't know anything about it, especially the SIM aspect of it, I really didn't know how interesting it was. And everything was going so smoothly... hopefully this will be a testament to my strenght and not my weakness.
For the time being Iveta gave me her lamp. It is now 23.37 and today I only read one chapter consisting of 10 pages. Not even worth to put it down on goodreads.com. For the entirety of the day I played Minecraft. I fear that reading is not going as planed. Well, since I have already read 4 books then technically I CAN play Minecraft for the rest of February, but by March 1 I have to be back on clock. Maybe if I just keep playing for the next days all day long then I will eventually tire of the game and can get back to reading... hopefully.
