I have been going back and watching Eccleston episodes of Doctor Who recently. It was because of John Hurt remarking on how he hoped his ears would be less conspicuous. I lost it and then had to watch Rose. He stares into a mirror, flicks his ears with his fingers and remarks about how big they are. I love that show; it never ceases to entertain me and I always feel so much better after watching it.
Let me point out that I am a huge WHOVIAN. I met John Barrowman at FanExpo and got my picture taken with him. I look way too excited about it in the picture, but I don't care.
I lent my copy of book one of The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy to a friend of mine. He hadn't read it. I am still trying to wrap my mind around that little gem. It still appalls me the amount of people who like that terrible movie, despite Martin Freeman and Bill Nighy being in it. Although, I did appreciate the crossover to Doctor Who and Sherlock with those two.
